Reins of Love Community Ranch
Did you know that Reins of Love is providing rich experiences to teens through volunteering?
Cindy Marx owns Reins of Love, which provides refuge and rehabilitation for abused equine, riding lessons and therapy services. At the end of 2019, the Reins of Love operation was moved from Isanti to Mel-O-Dee Stables. With the help of Jennifer Johnson (an experienced ranch owner and equestrian with a degree in Ag Management) and other volunteer staff, Cindy has been leasing the property with intent to expand the services offered at Mel-O-Dee Stables beyond boarding horses and the Reins of Love services to create an equine environment for the White Bear Lake, Hugo area communities, including a garden, pond, picnic tables, public and private events, and keep some of our country life here for all of us to enjoy at the Reins of Love Community Ranch.
THEY NEED YOUR HELP.
The Mel-O-Dee Stables property in White Bear Lake is currently listed for sale and large acreage properties in prime areas like this are often very attractive to developers which can drive the value up and price it out of reach for agricultural and other business (like boarding stables) that often have low margins. Reins of Love is in a unique position to make this property work, however, in order to keep the 40 acres ranch as an equine property, they only have a short time to secure funds, make an offer and close on the purchase.
Reins of Love is looking for donors and investors that see the benefit and value of keeping this equine property alive. All donations - from time or services to supplies and cash are very helpful! Equity investors can buy in for as little as 25k. Please feel free to reach out via gofundme, call Reins of Love or message me, Sarah Marrinan, for information on the next investor meeting.
WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Thank you for spreading the word and your support as we plan a bright future for this 40 acre ranch in the White Bear Lake/Hugo community and surrounding areas.
